Alcoholism is both physical and mental dependency. ..for me it was primarily physical, for you it's primarily mental.
It's still alcoholism, I was diagnosed as one and told I'd be dead within 5yrs if I didn't stop.

I have a disease of the mind as it relates to alcohol, it rarely manifests itself outside of drinking, but I have been addicted to other things (cock) before.

I'm not having a go at you Bradders but you don't make very good life choices now do you...your alcohol situation is just another one of those bad choices. Until you change your way of thinking you wont be able to quit.
That change would require making better choices across the board, not just where alcohol is concerned. You either want to succeed in life and live a healthy cleaner more rewarding one or you say you do but really subconsciously don't (I'll start tomorrow etc).
It's like fat fucks who say "I'm going to start my diet on Monday so Sunday is going to be one huge eat fest"....they've failed before they even begin.
Such a change has to be accepted as a permanent change..for the rest of your life. Not (as the fatties do) "Oh I'm going on a diet for a month to lose weight"...and then after the month start filling their faces again till they are 50lb heavier than before they began.
If you quit you quit for life.
Think about that next time you say you're done with men's cocks too.

About to start Chapter 16 of my accounting book. Another great 3-5 hours adventure ahead of me. Been putting it off for like a half hour lol but I Just wanna do it (it's optional) before class at noon tomorrow.
I like reading and taking notes from the chapter before the professor teaches it so I can bring questions to the professor that I don't understand from the book and better have the material understood.
