   There's kind of this unwritten rule in kitchens/bars/restaurant jobs that sexual harassment is not only allowed it's encouraged.
   
   I mean obviously there's some level of boundary but for the most part I've never really worked in a kitchen where it wasn't just completely common for the cooks and servers to interact in a "sexually harrassing" manner. Like if you feel harassed when you bend over in front of me to pick something up and I say LEWDLY "mmm yeahh girl pick that shit up girl lemme seem them goooods" then you wont last. Its just too commonplace.
   
   9/10 it's reciprocal and like I said, encouraged. Nobody really gets immunity either. 15 yr old tight-assed hostesses, the hot 45-yr old waitresses, and the lot in between.
   
   That's my experience anyway. Obviously that's not always gonna be the par.

    Never mixed with anyone from work, and not because of sexual harrasment "laws" etc.

    It's a risky game to flirt. but what happens after hours is up to those who work together. so at the end of the day, if you say.. He you want to hang out later.. and take it slowly. that's not sexual harassment. if she says no and tells on you, you can simply tell your boss that you simply wanted to talk about work issues.
    
    Although if you sign papers for employment.. and they strictly state "no dating co workers unless already dating on start of employment" then don't ever try. one of you is leaving and it's almost always the last to be employed.
