If you had to devote your life to faith, which religion would you choose and why?

   At one point in my life, I had planned to fly to Denver to catch a connecting flight to Shanghai. From there, I would've hitchhiked to the Tibetan border and joined a tour group that has gained permission to cross. Once in Tibet, I would slip away from the group and make my way to one of the more prominent ashrams in the Northernmost district of the country. At this point, I would stand outside, Fight Club style, until they let me in to do janitorial work.
   
   Once inside, I would do my work with diligence and ingratiate myself to the teachers. Eventually, I'd be taken on as a pupil and trained rigorously in the art of meditation. After appropriating the struggle of the Tibetan state, I would convince them that I am the pragmatic choice to support as the next incarnation of the Dalai Lama and that if they don't choose me, the Chinese government will install a loyalist who will denounce the independence of their people. Naturally, given my supreme spiritual talents and my sympathy to their cause, they would jump at the chance to recognize me as the spiritual leader of billions.
   
   I abandoned these plans when I went back to school and found new and exciting sources of drugs, which I don't think would've been permitted in my ashram.
