   I used to have a grimy friend like that who would get in my car and act mesmerized by how much loose change was in my center console because I'd just toss it in there whenever I broke a bill somewhere. He called anything that wasn't pennies "silver" and would say "Dude, you don't spend your silver?!" and would ask if I minded if he took a handful of it. I just let him because it was so pathetic and cut down on how often he'd hit me up for a loan on cigarette or beer money.
