I think it was venus the Russian probe landed on, sent back photos and explained why we can't find anything.
the planet overheated and started to invert from lava and churning the outer miles of crust. spinning it. clearly some composit materials survived from x device. how far back does this belief go. You read old stories out of the 1800s.. just years prior to War of the Worlds being written.. Cigar shape crafts (very common today) being seen on the same evening across the entire nation, from San Francisco to the midwest, and texas and New Jersey. I'm talking about the late 1800s.
this thing was said to be moving an estimated 500 miles an hour or faster. (not sure how someone could determine such speeds but it was written in news papers at the time.. totse had clipping copies of it way back)
