Originally posted by NARCassist dunno if any of you remember on zoklet when i went down to cornwall. i posted pix of that big old derelict house i squatted in during the summer. the house was huge, had about 30 rooms that were all stripped out and some major work had been started on the place and then abandoned. i was just staying in one of the rooms upstairs that was still intact, but i had to go all through the house and up a big stair case to get to it. this big room i had to go through to get to the stairs had half the floor missing and a good 10 foot drop into what was the basement below. one night i'd been fishing till about 1am and came back later than usual and it was pretty eerie just walking up the driveway to the house. when i was walking through the room with no floor i was using one of those lighters with the mini flashlight built into it to see, so i didn't fall through the floor. as i neared the doorway to where the stairs was i pointed the light toward the door and could make out a little boy of about 10 just standing there really weird and not moving. obviously i realized that there was no fucking way any little boy was in that house at that time of night. it creeped me the fuck out until i got nearer and realized it was the post at the bottom of the stair rail that had this round wooden ball shaped thing on top of it, lol. i don't believe in ghosts but for a few seconds the hairs were standing up on the back of my neck and everything while i considered the possibility i was wrong.
