   If you had a young teen as a child, when would you think it's okay to allow them to join social media, what with all the predators?

   It depends on their personality, but you never really know either way until you simply find out. There are plenty of people that use social media sparingly or wisely you could say, and don't get heavily involved or caught up in the cringe-factor of it all.
