I need to know why my cat isn't offended by my farts.

   Scientifically why. I haven't spent much time researching it but all I can really find so far is that cats just don't mind the smell. They DO lick their own assholes and fuss around in the litter-box, which likely relates to their lack of response when engulfed in a series of rancid milk farts over a several hour period in the middle of the night, but still... WHY?

   Cats like the smell of farts, they are primal animals not bound by what society thinks. A couple months ago I went to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, I didn't turn on the light and literally sat down on my cat and pushed him in the toilet cause he was drinking out of it and I didnt see him, he scratched my asshole, and I yelled "goddamn it bubba!"
