Besides benzos, how can I cure anxiety?

  1. #1

My life'd be way better if my anxiety was just gone. it holds me back alot. I've got significant fear and stress all the time.

    Nardil, phenibut, gabapentin, pregabalin.

Pretty much all you have, in terms of pharmaceutical options. There really aren't any good long-term treatment options, except Nardil, but it does have a lot of serious/deadly drug interactions and it's difficult to get it prescribed.

^ you mean either of thise or cocktail of all? Also would any cause false positive on a truck test?

Well, you could use all of them and they should stack, even augment each other or synergize, although using both pregabalin and gabapentin may be redundant (I don't know what the latest research suggests their differences are).

None of them should cause a false positive.

And if you don't use them he'll never help you again.

put yourself in situations where you have to socialise; I would suspect the anxiety mostly comes from uncertainty, so it won't be such a problem when you know what to expect from social situations.

take a class at community college, learn a trade or something. kill a whole flock of birds with one stone

This is the best answer. It can also be succinctly summarized as 'man up.'

Agreed. As someone who's drank and done ungodly amounts of drugs for well over a decade I admit I'm being hypocritical here but this place is too rampant with "Oh got a problem? Here's a list of over 9,000 drugs that could possibly cure it". Those suggestions may well be even valid and true with various scientific studies and personal experience backing them up.

The kicker though is it usually ends up with someone first getting the positive and intended results but later there will a thread 6-12 months later something along the lines of "I'm addicted to benzos, what can I do to ease the withdrawals?" In which even more drugs usually even more shit-tier are suggested and the cycle goes on and on.

I think a lot of people have that doctor mentality of throwing pills and therapy at the problem. I don't know. There are definitely situations for it. If you're suicidal or hurting yourself, you should probably see a specialist. But for most people they just need to get over it. The best way to deal with your problems is to deal with your problems. No drug will ever fix you 100% anyway. And the last thing you want is to feel like you need it to do the things you want to do.

Therapy doesn't work for everyone and has a very high failure rate. Many people have neurological disorders (me) or simply variation. The GABAergic system, amygdala and its connections to other regions, norepinephrine, serotonin and its subreceptors.

You're always going to be dependent on something to exist and function. Taking a few pills each day is a small price to pay for such enormous benefit.

To be clear, I do agree that everyone should put serious prolonged effort into therapy or independent exposure first.

Edit: Oh, wait, I actually ordered from them before and their quality was really shitty.

Oh snap, I checked r/RCSources and just found a great source for pyrazolam powder: http://www.topchems4me.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=85_59&product_id=59

This is different from other benzos. It has no recreational value and lacks side effects, it's by far the most selective for the A2 subreceptor, which is primarily responsible for the acute anxiolytic effects of benzos. I also came across a good paper some time ago that found that tolerance, and possibly downregulation, for the A2 subreceptor, or at least the anxiolytic effects of benzos related to this, didn't occur. Since it doesn't target the subreceptors responsible for the anti-cognitive, sedative, and amnesiac effects you could also avoid potential long term risks.

Highly recommend trying this. They're based in China, though, so it'll take a while to receive (Some Chinese companies ship surprisingly fast, though). Unscheduled and completely legal as well.

What do you have access to? Are the only rules no fail on a drug test? What do they test for?

What, why? You don't think people can be strong enough to exist/function on their own?

Many people genuinely can't. You should be able to think of multiple conditions that fit this.

I wasn't necessarily referring to myself, at least not exclusively.

A clear example is severe schizophrenia. Do you expect those people to be able to function without medication, to cure their condition through sheer will power? As I said, many people have a legitimate neurological basis.

You yourself stated that you came to believe you may genuinely have aspergers. This is a neurological difference that would explain some of the major difficulties you've experienced in life and your suffering. You've taken and still take multiple drugs, a fuckton of them, you goddamn hypocrite.

That's not what you originally said. This is what you originally said:

This implies the average layman is going to be dependent on something to exist and function. Now you are saying only some people need something to exist and function. At least that's what I'm understanding from it. Care to clear it up?
