Yeah, LA really is pretty much a shithole through and through. Hardly even a city, more like horrendous sprawl as far as the eye can see (about 30 yards on account of the fucking smog).

The woods/back country. More specifically mountain/rugged terrain in Appalachia. It's probably because I'm so used to it but I would honestly live in a shack on a dirt road than a mansion in a meadow/suburb though suburbs can be pretty pleasant too depending on where. I think the people(or lack thereof) tend to make or break the atmosphere of most places.

Yeah, I especially like street cafes at night. There are two places on my walk home from work that are open until like midnight but aren't bars, in the summer there's usually people sitting at the outside tables, talking quietly, usually smoking. Kinda like a lone pool of light along the street (although there are street lights and stuff). Occasionally I'll sit down, order some coffee, and just chill for a little bit. Not any fun when it's cold though.

50F is fucking cold for those of us that have been pussified by California, I hate it. I honestly think the weather in places that get actual snow and ice in the winter could kill me, even with appropriate clothes. Like that scene from that movie about the Jamaican bobsled team.

Hey, did you ever try phenylpiracetam? Along with being the strongest, in terms of effect, racetam by a good margin, it also has the interesting effect of increasing cold tolerance, although this varies, as effects usually do. It was actually banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency/Olympics for this reason, possibly others, such as the stimulant effect.

I didn't. That sounds cool but a little worrisome, like why is that a side effect? I guess stuff I don't know about with other racetams should be just as concerning but "increased cold tolerance" just conjures the mental image of drinking antifreze.

Not a big fan of boats. Sailboats at least. The sound of the sheets or shrouds hitting the mast at night always keeps me up, and that distinctive smell of lacquer, salt, and poor ventilation is kinda nauseating.

^Im more of a saturday afternoon troll kinda guy anyway. I would love to get into sailboats but as of now my experience is only with motorized. I can understand the bit about not being able to sleep though. Someday I hope to be one of those old geezers waving as they pass on their pontoon boat.

You guys are a bunch of whimpers , personally I hate hospitals, I was hospitalized multiple times when I was 17-20 for having bipolar disorder and for having a penchant for playing with knives. My ex gf chloe came to bring me some xanax in a pez dispenser. I got fuckedup and the doctor and the nurses came in and searched threw all my stuff, but I was smart enough to put the pez dispenser underneath my roomies matress. The next day my gf (who was underaged at the time) came to visit me again, and I fucked her standing up in the bathroom over the sink , the nurse walked in and started yelling at me asking what I was on, and while still pounding that sweet polish underaged pussaaaay I yelled back at her "it's weed niggaa!"

ahhh memories, those were such innocent times when I was 18 a decade ago.

Places make no difference to me. I never understood how someone can see something in nature and be like "oh that looks cool". That never happens to me, except on the plane ride from Turkey when we flew over Iceland. It was thousands of miles of snow and mountains, just like a Bethedsa game. I was amazed that there could be so much desolate territory in the world, where overpopulation is a major concern, and also how some of the areas of the land seem to be formed in a way that is either mathematical or magical. When we got off iceland, I could see from an angle how the ocean stretched thousands of miles deep, it would suck to go swimming there.... What a shitty country.

I do like the overcast in my neighborhood though....
