I don't know, a raid by law enforcement or someone threatening me physically IRL I suppose. I don't really want my posts here broadcast to coworkers or friends or whatever but I've made my peace with the fact that it's not that hard to link my personal identity to this site, so there won't be a repeat of rdfrn at least. -

I don't think so, I still regularly post things that express opinions that would never be acceptable in a personal or professional arena but I hope (and believe it's the case) that the people whose opinions of me I care about are discriminating enough to realize views expressed in this medium ought not be regarded in the same way. Like nearly everyone realizes that gang violence is harmful, but we don't treat people like violent criminals because they listen to music that glorifies that lifestyle. Likewise when I use racial epitaphs here or talk about the immorality of capitalist society that doesn't mean I'm going to discriminate based on race or rob banks in my "public" life. -
