Usury was banned during the medieval ages for a reason. We were on the Gold standard for a reason. Companies were passed down generations, not sold and bought as they gained and lost value.
Capitalism is good. Crony capitalism is bad. -

And we wonder why people are going on psychotic rampages. We could learn a lot from Mexico here, they value family above money in their culture.

That is due more to changes in the public education system than anything else. As far as learning from Mexico if it's so great there why aren't we trying to sneak in there? -

Because their economy sucks, you don't speak the language.
Mexicans wouldn't leave their family and home country if they were unable to send money back or bring their family with them. -

In any case, family is highly valued in Mexico.
In USA it has become a common trend to kick your kids out of the house the second they turn 18,
Or have them live with you until they become 30 because they're unmotivated, uneducated, and have no street smarts. -

Blame that for low wages in cities. Typically, once the cost of living goes up, so do wages.
That doesn't happen when you're competing with a bunch of Mexicans living in vans or crammed into rooms. -
