Will property prices ever come down?

The rent is way too high, and property prices are insane. I can't even really afford to live in the city in which I work. When do prices decrease?

This is why I want the economy to crash and burn. I can't afford anything. Hopefully the Wuhan goes full Spanish flu and there's a bunch of global disasters that makes everything worthless and people lose value on their homes and kill themselves or all the boomers get wiped out so people sell their property for cheap.

I blame globalization. Everyone wants to live in white countries so you can charge anything you want for a shitty house in a big city because if the white man doesn't get it there are 100 immigrant families that will.

Or you could just move to the countryside where it's cheap but there isn't much work out there. But if you save enough it could be affordable

living in the countryside is a blessing.

you can always go to the city from your countryside home, but you cant always go to the countryside from your city home.

it womt be long before they start installing CCTV all over the city complete with AI powered facial recog. to track everyone.

Goy, you need to work harder so these diverse migrants can have housing within the city!
We wouldnt want these migrants to be isolated!

Think about all the progress you are achieving during your 2 hour commute into the city!

Look to Norwegian history. A common surname is 'abandoned farm', or 'ødegaard'. This stems from the black plague when 1/3 - 1/2 of the population perished. Prior to the plague, farmers would cram workers into small dwellings. After the plague, people took on their own farms and became economically self-reliant.

Corona virus couldn't be a bigger win for Trump and the anti-immigration crowd. It shows the fault with relying on a third country for mass amounts of products. Companies in USA are considering heavily if they shouldn't ditch China all together with the pressure coming from every direction. Get rid of the Asian immigration and San Fran and Vancouver will become affordable to the white man again.

Sorry OP, property taxes will only continue to increase. If you can’t afford to live in the city in which you work, you need to either increase your income where you are or move somewhere you can afford.

Unregulated capitalism never worked either. Fact is we have to trade material goods for material goods. None of this fiat currency and paper manipulation that gets you rich.
