   I think I will go with an open air case.
   That way I can fit a big graphics card in.
   I already got it in a case so Imma just use sheet metal shears to cut off all the unnecessary shit to make way for the upgrades that are going to need some more space.

   Just go find some scrap parts. Computers from 2008 are literally being thrown out and their PSUs are still 550-750w with PCI-E sockets. People don't realize their PSUs are superb despite the computer being old junk. Check the thrift store or the recycling depot. Or craigslist. People will pay you to take away their old junk like that.
