Can white people go to jail for saying nigger in public

   Epsecially around black people? I simply mean just saying nigger at wendys a few times during a conversation in the middle of a quiet yet close quarters restaurant where 2 white guys are casually saying nigger sometimes while sitting next to 2 cops eating ice cream and 2 black guys eating burgers and talking about basketball
   
   Would the cops take you to jail? Can you be jailed just for saying nigger around black people?
   
   I assume they would ask you to stop saying it but if you said okeedoke and then kept saying it, I feel like they wouldn't allow you to carry on like that if they're just chillin and aren't busy

   They'll pull some other bullshit charge like disturbing the peace. As long as you're not threatening their life or safety, or slandering someone with lies, your free speech can go a long way.
