2020-02-16 at 4:50 PM UTCAny of you done this? Like create an illegitimate cmpany and was running it unregistered?
-
2020-02-17 at 8:15 AM UTCNot a big deal to do, but you probably should register with your jurisdiction's register of business names if you are conducting business under a name not your own.
There are basically no consequences for not doing so however. -
2020-02-17 at 11:07 AM UTCA lot of jurisdictions in this country don’t require a small business to “register”

You can't create an illegitimate and unregistered company.
A company, abbreviated as co., is a legal entity made up of an association of people, be they natural, legal, or a mixture of both, for carrying on a commercial or industrial enterprise. -
2020-02-17 at 1:50 PM UTCBut there is a national registar in Poland. I just found this out because I was doing a trial project for an online job where they told me about it as a way to do background research on companies. It made me wonder how they would research illegitimate companies in Poland or those unregistered?

See my post, it's not a "company" if it's illegal, your question is moot. -

I'm not familiar with them...but simply declaring yourself "a company" doesn't equate to you being "a company" no more than declaring yourself "a goat" makes you "a goat".
Per the definition a company is a legal entity..not an illegal one. -

No.
Again an company is legal and registered...if it's unregistered it's not a company...the legalities of it wouldn't really matter if it was unregistered as it would fail qualifying based on that alone. -
2020-02-17 at 5:26 PM UTCSo call it a fucking syndicate then. It sounds cooler anyway

Company vs Corporation All corporations are companies, but not all companies are corporations. Company is a much broader term than corporation, …

2020-02-17 at 6:27 PM UTCYes Vinny, you didn't counter anything I said with your copy/paste. lolol to have "limited liability" you have to be a registered and legal.
Again simply calling yourself a goat, doesn't make you a goat. -
2020-02-17 at 6:36 PM UTCPretty sure my house cleaner doesn’t have a registered business license. That’s ok though because she does a good job for a good price.

Simply because it doesn't state it in the heavily cropped version and selectively chosen definition you google for doesn't mean it doesn't have to be registered. absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence..etc
Obviously to be accepted legally as a company they have to be registered and 100% to have "limited liability" you need to be registered and legal.
...again my analogy takes care of it.
Calling yourself a goat doesn't mean you are a goat... -

no, what you dont get is that the word "company" existed before the laws that were drawn up to regulate it do.
company, semantically speaking, is any entity setup by more than one person, to do bussiness.
whereas legal definition differs from country to country. -

The origins of a word have little to do with the context it's used in presently.
Language is dynamic Vintent and context drives a major part of it.
Now clearly the context here refers to the question of can you start in illegal unregistered company?.
The answer is clearly no, because in the context used a company (business) has to comply with a multitude of laws for it to be viewed as a company.
Again sure you can call your fucked up (dis)organization as "company" but in the eyes of the law and the context of what a modern day company is...it isn't.
Again you provided the clue in YOUR definition re: limited liability...that right there indicates it needs to comply with the law to qualify for that alone.
Consider yourself told woman and move along to the next challenge.
