$1000 just to live in a fuckin 1 bedroom place and it's SHIT and always some slumlord in charge. Average Apartments these days are on the same level of shittyness as trailer parks 30 years ago

I can't even afford to rent, if I did it'd be about €1k a month, I'd choke handing that sort of money over.

A little under 800 for a room but have access to the entire house which is nice

Its rare to find anything this cheap though, it should be higher. My landlady loses money on this house pretty much (so she says, i dont believe that)

500 a month. 1 bedroom. Pretty decent as far as I'm concerned.

There is always the overhang at the abandoned strip mall if you don't like to pay rent.

    What city you live in

You can buy a single wide trailer for $9k-15k cash (clearance ones). Pay that shit off in a year and live rent free.

Most trailer parks force you to rent the land you put the mobile home on though

Not here in Tejas, you can buy an acre of land for 5-10k and stick it on that...land and home pays for itself in 2 or 3yrs (if you were previously paying $1k a month rent).

Here you go, 25k, on just under an acre... just over 2yrs rent and paid for

Who wants to live in Texas though
  19. #19
Yeah you’d definitely have to BYO trailer for that one. No way I’d live in that old rickety piece of shit. But just the land alone is worth it. An acre where I’m at right now would probably run you at least a quarter mil
