i'm looking for just plain old unbranded no tag staples that are of at least passable quality, no frills, just plain old clothes. shorts and t-shirts for a low price, in solid colors and a variety of styles.

hadn't thought of using amazon. was kind of hoping there was some company that had their own line of basic clothing that they cared about. it'd satisfy the autism to get all my clothing from one concern.

yee, you'd think there'd be some company that just makes like 5 colors of t-shirt and can offer higher quality or lower prices because of economies of scale or whatever but I don't know of it.

    Seconding Amazon.

I am a simple dude, and in the hot Florida climate, I stick to simple clothes. And to this end, I just order comfy plain tee shirts off Amazon.

There are gour brands that I order; Russell Athletic, Fruit Of The Loom, Hanes, Gildan

They're all good and I don't switch for any particular reason, I just go with whoever has the colours I want in the size I want.

Edit: I think the Hanes and FOTL ones don't have tags but printed info inside behind the neck.

are these satisfactory? i'm seeing like 30 bucks for 12 tshirts, that's a damn good deal, i could cut all my old shirts up into shop rags at that price.

whats a good name to look up for shorts? i like shorts that hit the middle of the knee at least, and have a sheer texture kinda. detail stripes up the side is fine. but fuck the prices i'm finding on amazon are like 20-30 per short, which is crazy when it'll cost a max of like 50 to get 12 tshirts. i might just go to walmart if that's the case because they sell jordan air shorts that i like a lot for 12.88.

and holy fuck 99 for gore-tex merrells? i paid 300 from a specialty shoe store a couple years back for these

Yes I've ordered those Gildan shirts before, they're pretty good. The important thing is that they aren't those shitty, thin, flimsy tees that tear, stretch and disintegrate easily and feel uncomfortable.

Be warned, they run a little "slim", so if you are overweight or something, they might show your muffin top off and be uncomfortable. I don't have a belly and the ones I bought in my normal size still sit fitted on my middle, so I order Gildans 1 size up to be comfortable in this humid weather.

As far as shorts go, I generally buy fewer but high quality pants but my go to brand is Dockers. They're excellent for the price.

I thought it was a gimmick at first but the Hanes t-shirts I got without a tag a while back are super comfy, like not just the tag thing (which is nice) but just nice soft material that's been pretty durable so far.

If I'm not wrong, you're talking about their X-temp shirts, right?

Because I agree, no tag and probably the best in terms of comfort and quality, specially for hot environment dwelling niggas like ourselves.
