Chinese resteraunts actively poisoned people in the 80's
-
2017-02-06 at 6:51 AM UTCNot all of them but the facts are the Chinese government fielded some agents to open up Chinese restaurants and contaminate the food with various cancer causing agents and a number of other compounds. MSG is the only one we openly hear about because it isnt as harmful ass the mercury and heterocyclic amines. There are rumors this is still attempted by some restraunts but the rigorous foodservice standards largely prevent it from being carried out too long.

"Most – if not all – of the purported links between MSG and cancer or other health scares are based on anecdotal evidence. " -

there's no reason anyone would put heavy metals in foods aside from slow-motion murder
**wiki indicates HCAs tend to come from 'dry' overcooking of meat without oil or marinade, most people probably haven't even heard of them

Well Mr aldra, Sir! I want you to just relax, go get into bed. sleep it off for the night and come tell us in the morning about that thing you fear, whether it's a suppressed thought from childhood trauma, the boogieman in the closet or the thing that watched you threw the window from outside your window. but don't worry about looking under your bed. what is not there in the light surely is not there in the darkness. good night! -
