is james woods your surrogate strong, masculine father figure you never had ?

I don't think any actor could be classed as a strong masculine figure.

REAL men don't trip the light fantastic...

No. Never needed one and I made sure my father knew that and more while he lived. If I had to pick an actor(s)that would fit that bill though I would go with 1)Gene Hackman 2)Charile Bronson 3)James Coburn 4)Burt Lancaster 5)Lee Marvin 6)Oliver Reed 7)Paul Newman 8)George Kennedy 9)Max Von Sydow 10)John Lithgow

The order would change often but anyone of them could be the strong masculine father figure to me. Some of them good drinking buddies too.

Hmm good question. OK remove Kennedy(he'll be my #11 daddy)put Eastwood in there BUT TO BE CLEAR 60's through to Unforgiven Eastwood. After that its a lil yucky thinking about it

the only one of those I really liked was Dr. Strange

It started out really good and then it had so many opoortunities to do something awesome the entire movie and it took exactly 0 of them. It had this great setting and build up and did nothing with them at all. Nothing ever "happened" until the end, which was really gay btw, besides the 5 second tune.

Simon Says with Crispin Glover..Decent. Sometimes funny. A few inventive kills. 7/10

Annihilation? I never got around to watching it. Should do.

I downloaded Color Out of Space, which is a Lovecraft story featuring Nicholas Cage. Might wait until I can spaz out hard on soma before I watch that.

I stopped watching movies around 2015 - 2017 after I started reading conspiracy theories and found out the true nature of the film industry.

doesn't make it not a valid art form, you'll still find some good low-budget/indie films if that's what you're into

I thought about getting into low budget stuff but idk, these days I'm content with music and games.
I haven't even been watching anime lately.
