If you allow bullying (in any arena) you are marking yourself as a victim and have zero respect for yourself or from others. It's as simple as that.
You know this very well, if you don't stand up and give or take a beating in defense of yourself you are marking yourself for future bullying and pretty much deserve whatever you get.
