doom 64 was one of the most underrated and best console fps games ive ever played. it was one of the reasons i bought an n64 near launch and one of the earlier games ive played on it as a kid. in fact i paid 70 dollars for it and still consider it one of my best experiences with the console. better thsn even goldeneye.
I can't use gamepad anymore since playing Delta 4 and Battlefield series with a mouse and keyboard.
We got a PS3 about 10 years ago and I just couldn't play that well. I got the best game from the old days for it. Prince of Persia. the original was one of the best side scroll.. playing it in 3D was bad ass but the pads were just not fun.
isnt there a way to play doom 64 on pc with mouse and keyboardz. one fideo mentioned some wad or mod from one of the pc rooms that did it or somehting.

it really is the best doom of them all imo.
have you played hexen yet? the first time i played it was on n64 as a young lad at my friends place, but since I grew up with out consoles I had a real hard time playing it because I was used to wolfenstein / doom2 on a mouse and keyboard.
also brutal doom is badass but really different
I remember first playing doom2 when i was like 6 or 7, my dad installed it because one of the younger guys at work gave him the floppy disc and I remember being afraid of the game.. lol and turned off the computer and my dad was like "what the hell.. I just took all that time to install it.." lol

It always kind of pissed me off that I can't run Linux on my XBox 360. It would in theory be a perfectly fine PC with a fairly good GPU that I could run crypto-mining on, especially in the winter.
