    Apparently customs here will be checking imported sex dolls and if they look too child like they will be confiscating them and reporting them to the police as being CP. Thought that was interesting that a lump of rubber could wind up getting you jailed.

    Really I think it's so silly to ban something just because you don't like it. The argument against actual CP was always that real children were hurt making it - and fair enough, that is valid. But banning a lump of rubber just cos you don't like the shape is a little weird.

    This is a weird subject. They were made illegal after an extremely pedophilic looking man in Newfoundland ordered a child sex doll from Japan, was charged but took it to court and said he wanted it to comfort himself after the loss of his son (even though the doll was female). He eventually beat the charges IIRC but had his face all over the national news and prompted the courts to clarify what exactly is a child sex doll.
