It's more Gothic Revival, Dark Wave, No Wave Melodic sound.

    It's never really been PUNK

Now I'm talking about 70s-90s original Post Punk. It started when Punk Ended. 1978
Now Kr0z.. fuck off. I know this is the third time I posted this. But you keep raping it with your drunken drivel

Classic Post Punk is Echo and the Bunnymen or Tone on Tails or Love and Rocket (Same band members)

Classic Punk is The Clash, Black Flag, The Vandals, Joy Division, some might say Iggy Pop and the stooges (Proto), Ramones if you like though I think they're just Garage Punks revival of the early 60s Garage Band.

Classic Mod would be The Byrds, Yardbirds or the 70s revival The Jam.

I'm too old for punk music. but every now and then. It's good to wake up to and start your day.

my dad took me to see sonic youth and hair police when I was 15, he said his friend from work would take me and his friend couldn't do it it so he took me because he said he didn't want me to be around those freaks alone

We used to go to this popular club in SF that closed down for nearly a decade and opened up like 20 years ago with the same name

anyways back when I hit 21.. my friends took me there and I remember the place was packed and this song played by Madness

And some girls grabbed my friend/co worker and I and started a huge Bunny Hop like dance where everyone got behind someone else and you di this train of kicking your feet and jumping up in the air in sync.

first time I ever got so drunk I woke up in bed with some woman I didn't even remember talking to. she lived in South Bay and back then there was no BART. I hitchhiked to like Fremont or some shit to get home.

why is it so important to you to classify things? if you break it down far enough you could say every band has a unique style but what's the point?

11th street/ Fulton street was a one and a half block of nightclubs in the SoMa back in the 80s. before Hayes Valley and Mission took off.

though the Mission had the TargetVideo77 nightclub and film studio. this was the place to go.. this or the Red LIght District near columbus and broadway aka North Beach
