MEXICALI, Baja California, Mexico - (KYMA, KECY) Mexicali police have confirmed with News 11 that a portion of the new border wall fell on the Mexico side of the border, landing on several trees.
Police said it happened a little before 12 p.m. local time. A portion of the wall landed on the trees, preventing it from hitting the ground. It runs about 130 feet in length.
Build a wall that can be knocked down by wind. Fantastic idea.

"Mexico's Cemex, one of the world's largest cement producers, is open to providing the raw materials for U.S. President Donald Trump's promised wall between the two neighbors, daily newspaper Reforma reported on Wednesday.
"We will gladly do it," Cemex President Rogelio Zambrano told the newspaper, when asked if the company would provide a cement estimate for the controversial project, potentially worth billions of dollars."
Fake news. KYMA is a CBS/MSNBC (fakest news in news) affiliate and constantly pushes lies and half-truths for its parents. See for yourself. Look at the new wall, then look at the wall in the fake news video. The barrier they are showing in the fake news clip is not the same as the actual new wall. The new wall has a concrete apron on the bottom and a solid screening at the top.
Walls and Fences work, of course they can all be compromised but it's better to have only 500,000 compromise it rather than 20,000,000 who could simply walk across if it wasn't there.
