idk maybe I came across as crass making this thread, but like i was saying for example when george bush died, despite him generally being regarded as a piece of shithole for the last twenty years people were coming out of the wood work, saying stuff like "OMG I"VE LITERALLY BEEN CRYING SINCE I HEARD ABOUT THIS!" on the internet, but I've literally never heard anyone say anything irl about bush dying except my uncle that said he couldn't stand having to live across the street from them and that he wasn't really that good of a president.
I don't know its like with all these skool and mass shootings across the country, theres this real fake outrage is seems like.. thoughts and prayers.. and not that I want anyone to die or anything but it just seems like people will get behind something to be a part of the herd..
like i liked (I even put like in my betabet soup) like phillip seymour hoffman and robbin williams but I didn't actually feel like it was something i needed to run to the water cooler at work or get on a message board or cry about in a dark room by myself. And I actually feel like I feel a lot more than most people. I feel bad about sploo and actro dying because I knew they were gonts just like me, but its kinda hard to relate to the president or kobye
