http://adam.curry.com/enc/1580070951.598_davehodgescoronavirusone.mp3“ Yi Guan, who played an important role in tracing the development of SARS, spoke hours before authorities prepared to place a second Chinese city on lockdown, as local officials employ increasingly harsh measures in hopes of controlling the spread of the deadly Wuhan virus Dr. Guan, however, left Wuhan convinced that “the epidemic situation was out of control.”
Most viral outbreaks ”are controllable,” he said. He pointed to SARS, H5N1 and swine fever.
“I’ve experienced so much and I've never felt scared before,” he said. “But this time I'm scared.” -

That's what they do. They take all their tainted meat and tainted medications and tainted vegetables and recalled goods and sell them to third-world countries who don't have any regulatory standards. They don't lose a penny in losses. At the very worst, they break even. -

2020-01-28 at 1:08 AM UTCThese are not snakes you want to eat. Unless you're Chinese
Disgusting water snakes no wonder they caused an outbreak. -
2020-01-28 at 1:10 AM UTCI think they need to cook it better and everything will be just fine.
I just felt the whole building shake. Not sure if someone dropped weights or we just had a tremor -
2020-01-28 at 1:12 AM UTCYou could set it on fire and decontaminate it with UV and I would still not eat it.
Fuck water snakes that's some old testament uncleanness shit. -
2020-01-28 at 1:40 AM UTCI visited a lake way out in northern Canada one time and it had a bunch of giant water snakes gliding across the water, especially in the early morning and at dusk. Literally ten to twenty feet long or better, and at least a few feet thick at the bellies. One day I was swimming in the deep part of the lake and one went right by me, just a few feet away. It was massive.

Canada does not have snakes that big.
The biggest snake in Canada is the gray rattlesnake which can grow to 2.5 meters/10 feet
Nevermind that they dont cross water, and only live south of Lake Ontario, which is hilariously nothing. Literally as south as Canada gets.
Now I've lived in FL and I have seen some actual big water snakes. 10ft monsters gliding across the water. Thankfully they stayed on the river and not in the cold springs everyone swam in. -

I saw a 6-7 foot rattlesnake outside my garage when I lived out in Eastern CoCo County (bay area)
went hiking. I have video I have to dig hard for (I got thousands of videos of hours and hours) in which I video taped the rattle snake I picked up by the tail, but only after he bit my backpack I pushed in front of me when the fucker tried to slither up to me on a trail. then his little bromo came at me and then slithered off without doing shit.
I used to have a big fear of them but I learned how to handle them. you just pick them up by the tip of their tail and hold your arm stiff out and away from you.. they can coil 4 feet but they can't pull their heads up to their tail if you have it by the tail.. as long as it's not a baby.
babies have really strong venum too.
