I'm not going to get into this number game. This was a rare event in Europe and it was higher than any killings in the USA. it's nothing to be proud of

and I agree.. stairs are fucked up. there are so many Hippy-Beatnik-Hipster older people in Berkeley who have fucked up stairs that live in the hills. weird ass stairways I had to deliver food in total darkness. I mean I laughed every time I nearly tripped and fell but apparently if someone dies.. it's their fault (The person who doesn't live there and trips). I think the city of Berkeley has their own bi-laws which exempt them from being sued if someone dies on their steps.

or so I'm told.
