People who zip between lanes and speed

I've noticed in the past few years people stopping at lights like 5 car lengths behind the car in front of them. What the hell is that mess about, them looking at the damn phone? It really pisses me off when I'm trying to get to the turn lane they're blocking.

Everyone around here apparently is into racing to see who can speed up and stop first at the red lights.

    FUCK YOU

There are several aspects to safely speeding and ziping between lanes. Most of them have to do with police encounters.

The biggest thing thing about safely speeding around is knowing where the police hide, as well as knowing where they are likely to be. I wrote a short guide on how to gain this information back on intosanctuary inside of a thread about committing hate crimes, but I cannot find it at the moment. I saw it a couple weeks back, but I forget how I got into the archive.

Once you know where the cops are likely to be, feel free to drive however you want if you're in an area where they are likely to not be.

On highways, cops tend to hide and set up speed traps over hills, so when you go flying over a hill, they clock you in right as you come over the hill. Cross hills at the speed limit. Cops tend to hide over bends/curves on the freeways, so if you cannot see ahead, go the limit, as there could be cops around the bend waiting for you. Cops also like to hide on various ramps for busses, etc, so they see you flying, and then they fly after you from their little hidey spot. Sometimes there is a gap in the divider between freeways (north/south, east/west), and they like to hide in these gaps as well. Always check all mirrors to see if some cops are coming up from behind, too. Memorize these areas to stay SAFE while flying around bitchass niggas like golm and his gay-mobile.

When it comes to city driving, the same rules apply. Cops tend to hide in all the same spots usually, so memorize those. Know all the common routes that they take to/from the local precincts, and know the times of day when encounters are likely.

Okay, avoiding cops is the #1 safety rule. Rule #2 is knowing the limitations of your equipment.

Its a good idea to know what your car is capable of. How fast can it stop? At what speeds do you lose control if you make a sharp turn? How capable are your tires in the rain? These are questions that only you would know, and its up to you to test out to find out. This helps you to "zip around (what a gay term)" without risking your own car. Protecting your car is SAFETY #2.

Most People don't coast in stoplight to stoplight traffic. When I see a light that's red several 100 yds away I slow down and start coasting so that I won't have to brake near the light. I see so many fools Speeding up to hurriedly get to a red light only then to jam on the brakes just in front of the car ahead of them. I dont get it. It's badd for fuel mileage and you are driving your car into the ground...and will need repairs more frequently.

Does anyone know why the hell people do this? Are they teaching them that now?

It's social media's fault as is everything. It's basically a "Hey everyone, look at me! go on look!!! here I am in the middle of the road blocking it so you HAVE to look at me!...yaaay!!!! here I ammmmmmm"

SAFETY #3 is like a condom in the form of a lawyer. State laws differ so contact a traffic lawyer.

Cops have multiple ways of telling how fast you are going. Most often, they will use a radar of sorts.

If the cops have set up a dedicated speed trap and are using a handheld radar, then you are most likely not getting out of a ticket in court. But a lawyer might be able to convince the court for you to pay a similar fine, but minus the actual speeding charge, thus avoiding a record and an insurance increase.

If the cops see you speeding while their own car is driving, then most likely you can get the charge dismissed, unless they determine that you are speeding by matching speeds with your car. The radars that they use while your car is moving are not actually accurate, and, technically, stopping you based on what these radars say, is unconstitutional. Any evidence they find on you after pulling you over after the use of such a radar will be dismissed as well.

When pulled over, just give em your papers and take the ticket. The lawyer will likely tell you to wait till the last day to respond to the ticket, and you will respond to it asking for a contested hearing, claiming that the charges are bullshit. The lawyer will then reschedule your hearing once or twice, and, eventually, you will have a hearing 4-6 months after the incident. This gives the cops plenty of time to forget who you even are. This is good, as the lawyer will ask a lot of questions of the cop if he shows up in court, a lot of this information he will forget by then, unless he keeps meticulous records for long periods of time for routine traffic stops (very unlikely).

In most cases you wont even have to show up to court yourself, the lawyer will go on your behalf.

A word of caution; if you take too many tickets to court in the same city, the cops will eventually get to know you, which is bad.

p.s. standard police encounter rules still apply; tell them "no comment" to all their questions such as "u know what the limit is, you know how fast u were going",etc. do not incriminate yourself.

I’ve seen that a lot too. About half the time they’re not even using their phone. I can’t explain it I just chalk up another tally in the column for why 70-80% of humanity should be eradicated
