I have been using a free Wifi hotspot service that I can connect to at home, for the internet for years now. Each time I connect, I have to spoof my MAC address to one I haven't used in the past month, connect, and then sign up for a new account. It is not that big an inconvenience, but I would like to automate the process which is going to be easy. I do need help with networking though.
My goal is to have a wifi adapter in a rPi that will connect to the router via a script that handles spoofing/connects/signup and then have the ethernet cable go from the rPi to a wireless router that all of my other devices connect to. I want the internet service that the rPi receives to be shared with the router.
I really haven't done much networking as my network is usually just all of my devices connecting to either my phone or a pubic router that hosts free internet service.
Is this an easy task?
