2020-01-22 at 6:25 AM UTCAny of you into Industrial?
This is my favorite genre
I got into it through post-industrial, which is the same for anyone who isn't an old boomer who was around when Throbbing Girstle started out.
When I was 12 or 13 I was dumpster diving outside of a half price books and discovered a a promotional copy of Skinny Puppy's Last Rights on cassette
they're my second favorite band after NIN.
That album in particular shaped my taste in music for the rest of my life.
At the same time I was getting into Skinny Puppy I started listening to Merzbow and discovered Harshnoise, a record label run by a musician called "Stimbox", there was some great stuff they released but sadly the label is now defunct and the site is down. -
2020-01-22 at 6:29 AM UTCI want to make an album that sounds like Skinny Puppy's album Rabies, but with elements of harsh noise and anime samples
Basically something like this:
