I have a gun. I'd rather shoot you with it. Where do you live?

Yes. Smash alone is dope. The dark souls port is also a lot of fun to play on the go. BotW is GOAT.

Nintendo refurbished is really good if you want a deal. Not the cheapest but it comes basically new. I got a 3ds used from them and it was in pristine condition. Looked brand new except for the box.

Competitive ultimate exists and is a pretty big scene. Ultimate is better suited for competitive play than 4 and brawl, it moves relatively fast and the cast is impressively well balanced given the size, there are few characters that are truly tournament unviable and if you count out the top player who's been on top for most of the game's life and is the top by a landslide, there's a lot of character variety in tournament wins.

That said, while it's fun to play and try to get good at, it's not melee by a longshot. Coming from melee, basically everyone has an amazing recovery with a couple exceptions, and ledgehogging is out, so you're almost never going to get low percent KOs against someone close to your skill level. You rarely see big comebacks or more that a full stock difference, so there's a lot of emphasis on taking the first stock and maximizing how much chip damage you can do which IMO is kind of boring to watch. It's interesting because it's not a game that rewards super defensive play like brawl, you definitely need to be aggressive, but you're almost always playing for direct damage, not to take a stock or for stage advantage (unless you're a hard zoner in which case you're only playing for stage position and basically nothing else).
