Really the only issue is the presentation is bland, stale and moderately uninteresting to look at and navigate. Nothing different than a million other of same out there. It needs that "fringe" look, not a "cardboard cutout" look. It has to look interesting, inviting and intriguing. I remember back on the pre-WWW Totse, we all kinds of cool ASCII graphics scrolling and appearing as you moved between areas, which changed frequently, and it just gave it that anarchist-type atmosphere... kind of like a hide-away/forbidden motif and feel. Most people wouldn't have a clue what I'm talking about.

Yea dude but its not 1989 anymore and a website with that stuff on it in 2015 would just look silly and outdated.
