   I think it was Mystbusters. there is a new glass.. designed for Office Highrises (skyscrapers) that is made out of some alloy. it it binds so well
   
   it starts off as a metailc looking block. like nickle plated. but when heated and pressed into a larger thinner plate.. changes Ion size which makes it clear like glass or something weird like that
