This is truly a beautiful piece of software that was way ahead of its time. I never exerienced it at the time due to owning a N64 and aways waned to get into the series but the camera and complicated controls held me back. However, watching this play-through made me realized how wonderful of a game it wwas. In ract I would say technically it is more impressive of a game on PSX harware than Goldeneye and even objectively looked better:

You're a fucking retard if you never played the MGS series. It's the most manly badass video game series there is. It's like the Clint Eastwood of video games. Hideo Kojima is one of the greatest creative minds of our time and it's no surprise he recently became a movie director.
A Metal Gear is the titular superweapon "Metal Gear", a bipedal walking tank with the ability to launch nuclear weapons.

MGS is a great series but it's too mechanical. Splinter Cell was much more organic and you could hide in the darkness, it was more about stealth which I preferred. The reason I got an Xbox was for Splinter Cell, then Conker Live and Reloaded, Deus Ex Invisible War, Shenmue 2 and KOTOR came out .... It was an amazing console. It's sad to see how Xbox has fallen, there was literally no reason to own an xbox one, I told my co-worker who owned one that it was a pointless console and there was literally no reason to have one and he just stood there in silence ... He couldn't refute my observation even xbots know their team has lost. I probably won't even get an Xbox series X unless they get some truly interesting exclusives which won't happen.
