Originally posted by Technologist It’s over anyway, as long as trump doesn’t retaliate. Iran said this was their retaliation and they’re done, but if we retaliate?…..they have threatened to bomb Dubai and some city in Israel. We shall see.👀
I think the game changed tho, when they started a "Second" attack. -

Originally posted by Technologist Yeah, I thought about that after going to bed. Iran stated that they are not responsible for anything it’s proxies do. There are too many of these militias that want revenge. Doubt it’s over.
I think Iran’s retaliation was disproportionate to our strike on Saleimani. It’s like Iran took the measured rational approach, they have more restraint than trump.
it seems they actually telegraphed it beforehand, giving everyone enough time to bunker down. The IRGC called the Iraqi PM and told him which specific parts of the bases would be targeted.
Despite the rhetoric from both sides this wasn't 'revenge', it was a both a serious warning shot (ie. we can hit you hard and being able to counterattack won't undo the damage) and concrete action for the consumption of the people who want blood for Soleimani. Iran doesn't want further military conflict, but a lot of locals (not just Iranians or Shiites, Soleimani was a hero to a LOT of people) will take matters into their own hands if it seems the leadership isn't taking a hard line.
Iran's idea of 'revenge' and end goal isn't killing people, it's permanently evicting the US from the region. This specifically ties in with their long-term goal of cutting israel's lifeline so they actually have to deal with their neighbours and negotiate on the future of Palestine.
The thing is, even if someone manages to restrain Trump from reacting, the Iraqi PMUs as well as other smaller paramilitary and terrorist groups can act independently and may take things a lot further than the Iranians had hoped -

Um that contradicts itself... -

As it states in the EPM MCRCO 1100.1
The below references are the number of offenses an "enlistee individual" may have and at what level of authority must approve these level of offenses.
Traffic offenses (TO)
1-4 offenses no wavier required
5+ offenses an RS CO approval wavier required
Non-traffic offense (NTO)
1 no wavier
2-4 RS CO approval waiver required
5-9 MCD CO approval waiver required
10+ ineligible
Misconduct (MO)
1-2 RS CO waiver required
3-5 MCD CO waiver required
6+ ineligible
Major misconduct (MMO)
1 Regional Commanding General approval required
2 Recruiting Commanding General approval required
3+ ineligible
The "Recruiter" determines whether or not "they" want to run a "wavier process" on an individual & keeping in mind the HIGHER levels of authority require "excessive background investigations" and majority of these conflict with securing an individuals security clearance.
a Case by case bases will be determined upon 1st approval of the Recruiter, the SNCOIC of the RSS and the appropriate approval authority.
…yes, CHIT, definitely, has changed–hasn't it?? Mr. BUCKO! 😆😆👍🏻
As you posted waivers are used to fill unmet quotas………….

2020-01-08 at 1:50 PM UTCOh, and we can't rule out a certain Greatest Ally trying another USS Liberty, but the way Netenyahu's been distancing himself from this whole affair (even though they've been trying to kill Soleimani for years) makes me think he might have realized he DOESN'T actually want war with Iran

He would rather watch our troops die on TV. After all their Talmud says goyim(non jedis) should be treated like cattle. For some reason I don't thin Israel is our greatest ally its a parasite. -

Hate and vitriol are good for propaganda purposes, but once you start actualizing it people realize more and more that they actually like peace. Israel would not do well if the whole region went to war.
I mean if the US was closer to the warzone, I'm sure Trump would not be so quick to threaten war.
Well... He probably would. But any halfway rational president would not.
He's seriously weakened America's position though. My god. -
