I'm way out of the loop: what exactly does CBD oil do anyway?

2020-01-06 at 3:07 PM UTCI got my mom to start taking CBD gummies for her arthritis so she can cut down on the naproxen and it seems to help her quite a bit. Planning to get some quality CBD oil and ingredients for making a homemade cream/balm to see how that works out for her. They sell premade ones of course but they're typically overpriced like fuck.
I took a few gummies for anxiety a few times and it seemed better than nothing though I'm sure it's probably something you would need to take on a set schedule rather than on a PRN basis. -

My mum suffers the same. I'm just thinking of sticking 2gs of bud in some cakes. She doesn't smoke it so I'm hoping this is strong enough. -

Its trickier using bud because most of it is geared for higher THC content and lower CBD so it's not quite as effective unless you can get bud designed for high CBD content, which is harder to find and usually more expensive. The addition of THC certainly helps the psychological component of pain for many people but it's the CBD which works on inflammation which obviously arthritis is all about. -

I made some infused coconut oil with 92% THC distillate once which made it possible to make it potent enough for a dose to fit inside an empty gel capsule and gave my mom some of those but all they really did was get her high lol. -
2020-01-06 at 3:41 PM UTCit's mostly used around here for epileptic children.
it has diminished epileptic reactions down 80%
as far as that goes, it's been a miracle drug for children, who normally suffer thousands of trimmers per year. -

2020-01-07 at 3:19 AM UTCI ate 100mg in CBD gummies earlier. Felt mildly cooler for maybe 15 seconds then didn't notice anything whatsoever. Helped with pain marginally

2020-01-08 at 5:41 AM UTCThe drops never did anything for me but the CBD joints at the Habib shop give me a mild thc like buzz. I smoked one today after work

2020-01-08 at 5:48 AM UTCcbd is actually fucking shit for actual pain. I'm sorry but if your pain is alleviated by CDB then I dare say you did not have much pain to begin with. Any amount it takes from the opiate producers is good though so I hope it has a long future in medicine ahead of it

2020-01-08 at 6:28 AM UTCYeah, when I took like 300mg it helped on that border of mildly to moderately for my pain but that's prohibitively expensive and and it really didn't do much.
DERURHR BUT YOU GOTTA GET da FULL spectrum oilz
yeah fuck off i should try it but probably wont
