not 400 lbs but it looked sure looked like that much!π¦
Same here. I was nearly bedridden for 6 months in 2017, and these surgeries due to my mastectomy are making it hard to keep the weight off. Good thing I lost 22 lbs before all this started. The holidays didnβt help either.

i actually did go to a nutritionist... for like a year 1/2 was a lot to absorb.
i can say im a more plant based eater now. i can't cut meat completely out of my diet. i now put different beans in salads rather than meat. switched to thin crust on pizza with more veggie/meat ratio & make way better choices when i go out to eat.
i NEVER drink soda, & rarely any alcohol except on occasion, but i do still have my java!
this am i made veggie/fruit frozen smoothies for us pre wakeup- cuz my son has a sore throat and for breakfast i ate: celery, snow peas, olives, oranges, cucumber & hummus. π

The cauliflower pizza bases are delicious, tastier than bread ones in my not so humble opinion.

i thought they were ok. kinda odd texture. prolly just all in my mind. lol so i just started eating only thin crusted pizzas. last one we ordered was: thin, light sauce with bell pepper, mushrooms, & ham... very tastyπ
used to eat nothing but the meat lovers w/ a side of hot wings before. lol yeah, a big switch.ππ»

both my sons watched a documentary on Netflix called: Game Changers
man... O man... after watching that, they both asked about eating less meat in their diets. before that... they wouldnt even think about eating salads or beans. lol

Teach to think critically...you see the problem with that statement...My dad tried to teach me a lot, however my critical thinking overruled his dumbness.

My dad's critical thinking when I told him I was moving to America in search of my fortune..."What about your job?!"
..."Dad, I think that's too far to commute".

i am not at all pleased i allowed myself to get that fat and heavy, but i can promise you it can happen to anyone (not my same size and weight but much bigger than you are now). and i did change my diet. i did cut out a lot of bread, gluten, and starch items. the hardest part was not dropping the weight, but getting your skin back in shape. that took longer because i refused having the surgery to correct it. being on the farm is what did it best for me. nothing is light, easy to move, and it's 100% physical in every aspect. but i am glad i did it this way because it also strengthens the heart muscles.
