    It's looking likely. Initially the PMU leadership confirmed it, but Iraqi state news denied. Now Iraqiya has confirmed. Iran/Press TV have made no statement yet.

    They're fucking dumb. Although considered the highest ranking official to be killed, he is isn't the first. I've read about a few Iranian generals being killed in airstrikes in warzones. They must honestly believe Muhammad is looking over them. They could issue orders from afar, there is no reason to be putting themselves in the cross hairs.
