Is it possible to get really good on a trackball or a trackpoint?

I have both, but they seem to really suck.

I am pretty good on a touchpad, but nothing seems to beat a mouse.

write an app that turn old smartphones into touchpads.

    share the profit with me.

The first computer mouse was publicly unveiled in 1968 by its inventor, Douglas C. Engelbart. He invented the computer mouse in 1964 — two decades before it would ship with the first Apple Macintosh.Jul 4, 2013

Clits are just bad and only exist to either save space or let you do some crude mousing around without taking your hands off the keyboard.

I've heard some CAD people argue trackballs are better than mice. I can see the ergonomic argument for it, you don't have to move your shoulder/elbow and arguably wrist as much. I don't think they ever get more precise than mice, and there's definitely a learning curve, but I think they can get back up to mouse level precision/speed with some practice.

logitech makes the best wireless mouse. i replace the triple A battery once a month. so they are very efficient. if i'm doing cad, ill use the ergo pad with this mouse vs the trackpoint.
