   i use to shoot pool at a hall whose son was a little slow (pollack)
   when the pops would go for lunch or need to run, he'd put his son in charge.
   
   this is when i would say (after placing a silver dollar where you break at), hey vinny, ill bet you that i can roll this cue ball from this end rail and it will hit that silver dollar before you can pick the coin up?
   
   vinny would be leaning forward in prep to sweep that coin up, i'd ask, are you ready?
   on 3, i will roll this cue ball and you pick that coin up.

   three
   he went diving for the coin while at same time i'd use the cue to jump the ball and drive it right into his nose.
   
   his eyes crossed and watering with blood running down, i'd say, shit man, you almost had it.
