Well...we were all kinda 30+/middle aged as well.
None of us were up to doing a mass shooting - at least before breakfast anyway.
The food on that train really sucked btw, lol.

The train I was on was called the Lunatic Express, and has been discontinued in favour of the Chinese Built Standard Gauge Railway (China lent Kenya the money to built the railway line - which will no doubt cause financial problems for the whole country of Kenya in the future).
https://www.seat61.com/Kenya.htmI'm glad I got to ride it while it lasted.

It was pretty fun to hang off the side off, wave to the locals, and occasionally get off when it stopped.
And lose your foot if you weren't careful, lol

I remember sitting on the doorstep of the train with my legs out the side, and thinking "I could never in a million years do this back home". Great thing about Africa, you are responsible for your own choices. It wakes you up and makes you feel alive like you just don't back home.

Oh lol, the goat in the orphanage. I paid for 1/4 of her, and I did get to take the kids play riding on her. It was great fun.
She was dinner. I left just before she got the chop.

I really want to go back. The whole experience was great fun. Some parts were horrible, but I had (comparatively lots of money and so could help out, which really made me feel better.
This is Ugali and Sakuma Wiki which is basically corn flour (just like the stuff you use for thickening sauces) boiled in water, and some sort of collard greens/local spinach. It seemed to be all they ate over there, but must have been a complete diet as everyone seemed healthy.
