Because, though it was written for our time, it was still important the people of the past bore witness.

english did not exist yet when this was written (1st century AD). english evolved around 5th to 7th AD.

English is a West Germanic language that originated from Anglo-Frisian dialects brought to Britain in the mid 5th to 7th centuries AD by Anglo-Saxon settlers. With the end of Roman rule in 410 AD, Latin ceased to be a major influence on the Celtic languages spoken by the majority of the population.

No, he means since it was written as a prophecy for and directed specifically for our time, why didn't they write it in English, even though the writers themselves didn't know or understand English.

Controversial claim argues that ancient Israelites turned Egyptian hieroglyphics into letters. LETTER STONE Inscriptions in stone slabs from Egypt, including this specimen dating to almost 3,500 years ago, contain the world’s oldest betabet, which one researcher now argues was an early form of Hebrew.

here is the TEN COMMANDMENTS factually done in Hieroglyphs and they are also NUMBERED 1 thru 10

which means, Hebrews and Arabs learned their letters and numbers from Egyptians!!

    doesnt prove a thing.

like i said, jéws could very well be genetically egyptians who happened to be a bunch of slaves that ended up, due to their slavery, identifying themselves as something else.

    as israelites.

whats the point of being a witnesses that existed and died so long ago that theres no way for us to establish their credibility ?

Because there will be a great resurrection of all the dead who died, which will take place right here on Earth, and all those thousands, or millions, who lived then will have also been given the witness to prove that what God says will indeed happen, and that his words are true.

why does god cares so much what we think of him ?

Einstein postulated that time travel is possible, and that's because it's true. Time, and the events therein, are a construct - a clever machine, if you will. Once you are inserted into the machine, there's no way to get you out (other than one single way, and only one person who can do it, God, who created the system in the first place). Even Satan the Devil himself can't delete you from the timeline once you've been inserted into it. That's why he doesn't just kill you outright. It would be pointless to kill you, because you'd still be there, inside time.

You not only exist at this moment, you also exist at every individual moment, going right back to the exact point you were inserted into the timestream. So there's actually billions of you, each one stretched out in a chain down the river of time, both backward and forward. If you died at this moment, there is still billions of you alive and well, still there inside the machine. That's why Satan doesn't bother killing you right now, because there's billions of other yous he would also have to kill, and he doesn't have all that much time left, relatively speaking. Considering he himself has most probably lived billions of our years, from our perspective.

It's got to do with fairness and unfairness and justice and injustice, rather than his personal wants or needs. It's not fair to have a person give everything to their friend and then have that friend thank them by stabbing them in the back. Where is the justice in that? It's not like he needs or wants anything. He already has it all, everything he needs. He doesn't need us, but created us solely for his own enjoyment and for our own enjoyment; a fair arrangement.

The point is what this life is really about. What our lives really mean. What we represent in the equation. Satan the Devil would kill us all right now, and he still legally controls this system of things for a time, but the way he has to play it is he needs us to sink ourselves. It can't be him killing us, it has to be us killing ourselves. Doing it that way, he can kill all those billions of you all at once. That's his strategy. He's extremely clever and cunning. And he knows how the machine works, and he's found ways to manipulate it to his favor. Alas, all is for naught.

Don't be silly. There is definite poetic justice in fairness, justice and righteousness. Like art. It naturally appeals to the eye. Evil is unnatural, and it paints an ugly picture, not pleasing to the eye of one who would stand up for things noble and pure and right. The light is appealing and warm and inviting, whereas the darkness is cold and damp and without love.

then why the eventuality of all lights are darkness ?

Darkness brings light, true. People only believe if they can touch, feel, smell, hear, see. They have to see it for themselves, Feel it for themselves. If they don't, they don't grasp the meaning of it all. So, yes, even darkness serves a purpose in the grand scheme.

it's actions not thoughts that matter.
if you think God is worthy, you will PRAY to Him, you will SEEK His advice on all matters, you will Honor Him by trying to be a better person from the example He set while on Earth for us.

if you do these things because you want to, desire to, they are telling God what we think of Him.

just like an atheist who does not believe.
their actions tell God specifically what they think of Him!!
