    Story goes pretty much like...
    I got drunk as per my usual routine.
    Next thing I know the drug addict in me is impulsively commissioning great works of art.
    This one is a 48x60 portrait of me surfin the web in my mom's basement.
    Ended up taking several months and around $1200.
    I wasn't paying any bills then.
    I let the artist enter it into several art shows where it won great acclaim and numerous awards.







    At the time I figured it only made sense to spend all that money on getting my portrait done while I was young and still looked good.

    Its hard to model in such a big coat. I had to keep shimmying to keep it on straight.

    Irl my right arm is longer than my left but its grom jumping off the flood wall down by the river. Now my shoulder kinda sags.

    I walked insideBest Buys. Fucking 60 inch cheap brands (which still looked fanfucking-tastic) were like 350 bucks (maybe out of box?)

    We don't have room in here for a 60 inch. and that need to go bigger isn't as OCD for me as it was when I was younger. wishing wishing (maybe in the future they'll be under 1000 dollars and I will have that money)

    fucking hell you can get like a Sony Older model 80 inch for 1100 bucks or less these days. 40,000 dollar TV sets in 2010 for less than 1000 bucks

    a 42 inch I saw once for 125 bucks NEW. TCL (not the smart tv though or didn't have bluetooth) being discontinued at Target. not lying.

    I bet there are working model ones sitting in a landfill not damaged enough by the bulldozers sliding them around the trash just waiting to be picked up

    so 25 bucks is about right.

    Some Polish guys who live down the road from me work in recycling, and get old TVs and sell them. Some are broken due to things like blown capacitors, which are easily replaced. I bought one for €40 from them online one time, they were giving me the directions to pick it up and I was like "wait, these are the directions to my house, wtf?"
