The Republicans are subverting our democracy by allowing the president to stonewall by him allowing absolutely no material demanded by subpoena as well as him demanding no subpoenaed person show up. This subversion of our constitution will come back to haunt our history and render the very act of impeachment dead on arrival as stonewalling will become ensconced as the way for any (Democratic or Republican) president in the future.
What are the Republicans so worried about by actually allowing the evidence to be presented and then holding a vote?
