A single source of information can never give a definitive answer/the full story...supporting evidence required. You can evaluate the single source of course, but there is a difference in evaluating it and marking it down as "the be all and end all" of the subject matter.

Conversely having multiple sources corroborate the same information in itself, no better or worse. It depends entirely on the specific case and how it is evaluated. Having 3 links to Daily Caller, Breitbart and Stormfront is not the same as having links from Stanford, the BBC and Reuters. -
