thats because american economic model favors and rewards failures. its like a giant padded cell for failed bussiness people. look at their chapter 11 and general bankruptcy laws.
in most other countries once you go bankrupt thats it, your done and in some colonial laws you arent allowed to wear shoes and long pants. but in the US, you can declare tactical bankruptcies, shed your responsibilities to your debtors like a snake with skins, and move on onto another new scheme you just cooked up.
failures in the US are not just rewarded, they're glorified.
