It's pretty well known. China Oceanwide funds a lot of these. They also are the ones buying up real estate and foreign companies like Genworth. They own a lot of malls and retail areas in America. Especially on the west coast. They've got the second tallest tower in San Fransisco.
Many are also funded by the Agricultural Bank of China, or China Construction Bank, who both heavily invest abroad.
You're just ignorant if you think the Chinese aren't trying to win the economic victory. -

One of our popular ones downtown here got caught with a cage full of pigeons in their basement. They made a big story out of it but most of the community backed them and it was believed that the pigeons were for either personal consumption or just weird pets. Chinese people can be weird just like the rest of us.
Point being if they were using pigeons as some of their meat nobody really cared anyway but its very likely they weren't. It doesn't seem cost productive or worth the effort. -

No more bussing tables, no more fake smiling at the Karen on table 3, et cetera. Like the good Chinese place in Red Wing is ran by a husband and wife, that's it. No additional staff. I've done work on their house, and it's not a cracker-box by any means, and is in a better part of town, plus they take month long trips every year, so I know they gotta be doing okay basically selling nothing but takeout.

That's why Chinese places seemingly always have the same generic names and same exact Canton style shit on the menu.
tell us o chinese expert, why are they recruiting south chineses to cook nothern chinese dishes ?The Taiwanese place I go to actually has, you know, actual Taiwanese food on the menu. The double sausage with that distinct sweet chilli sauce, tea eggs, crispy fried chicken skin, rice towers. The owners are from Taiwan. You'd think these Chinese places would have more regional stuff with China being such a massive place. But its always the same greasy generic shit.
thats like complaining kfc lacks kentuckiness. -
