I mean, in this case I wouldn't really say Trump and Boris are the same, even though they have similar platforms - Trump was presented as an alternative to the liberal-republican dichotomy whereas Boris is the disabled frontman for the Tories.

I think Trump genuinely meant to make real changes based on his previous criticism of Obama-era policies, political interference from the gulf states and the like, but had no idea what he was getting himself into and gave in to the rot almost immediately. Like I said before, I think it was all over the moment he fired Flynn.

Boris just seems to have latched onto the popular Brexit topic to be seen as a 'populist', even though he's force-feeding the voters policies they don't want in other areas. And yes I agree, I think the Brexit vote was more about the native English feeling their national identity and even public safety threatened by absurdly high levels of immigration with very little cultural assimilation - it's become very difficult for anyone to even talk about that without being 'deplatformed' or shouted down as a racist.

I would agree with that. Trump genuinely was considered an alternative candidate, even by the high up, and they were terrified by him.

BoJo is the Mayor of London, a non-white city, and you can expect him to try to turn the entire UK into London.

In today's world, does it really matter what a bunch of tea drinkers and spotted dick eaters do? England is a joke.

Tough to forget that Boris tried to put the lipstick on the pig and almost got away with it. That's a pretty tough thing to overlook: treason.
