   This guy is making a shitload or cash and running the biggest blogs as editor or tech blogger with only a bachelors degree in philosophy. Plus he is working remotely unlike you. What I don’t get is why they’re even covering this worthless news?

   Never heard of him, but the guy is obviously a talented writer and someone who takes his craft seriously and works at it constantly. There is a lot of competition for editor posts at tech blogs.
   
   I am basically a computer guy at a big company. It's a different skill set, different career path.
